Used in nursing school education in the Philippines for decades, Three Infant Lives raises awareness of the socio-economic factors in infant mortality in the Philippines. Based on actual case studies from a Johns Hopkins School of Public Health longitudinal study of infant feeding practices in 152 low-income families in Metro Manila, these three stories represent the main causes of untimely deaths of otherwise healthy babies.
